Admitted to the Bar as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya in 2005, Eric Theuri is the Managing Partner and Head of Litigation and Dispute Resolution at Theuri Wesonga & Co. Advocates, a respected Nairobi-based law firm. His practice spans commercial litigation, environmental law, alternative dispute resolution, legislative drafting, corporate governance, and statutory compliance, reflecting a deep commitment to legal excellence and public service.

In December 2025, Eric Theuri was formally conferred the distinguished rank of Senior Counsel (SC) — one of Kenya’s highest professional legal honours — recognizing his outstanding contributions to the legal profession and his exemplary record of service. He is the youngest Senior Counsel to be so honoured, a milestone that underscores his professional achievements and leadership legacy.

His tenure as LSK President was marked by advocacy for judicial independence, engagement on legal reform, and support for networks and mentorship for young lawyers. Beyond his presidency, he remains active in legal discourse and professional development, previously serving on the LSK Council and leadership committees over many years.

A recognized member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb), Senior Counsel Theuri continues to champion dispute resolution best practices and integrity in the rule of law.
