During his tenure on the High Court, Justice Emukule presided over a range of significant cases, including environmental and public law matters such as Peter K. Waweru v Republic — a case that engaged constitutional and environmental principles such as sustainable development, the precautionary approach, and intergenerational equity. Beyond his judicial service, Justice Emukule has continued to champion environmental justice and climate accountability. He currently serves as the Presiding Judge for the GLGI International Moot Court Competitions, where he provides mentorship, guidance, and inspiration to emerging climate and environmental law advocates across Africa.
