Edith Angelou Okoth is the Chief Financial Officer and Chief of Staff at BBA Advocates, a dual role in which she has demonstrated exceptional leadership, strategic oversight, and administrative acumen. She earned her Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa, and brings to the firm a deep commitment to justice, social impact, and organizational excellence
At BBA Advocates, Edith’s portfolio is both diverse and crucial. She is at the helm of financial planning and management, oversees day-to-day office operations, and ensures staff coordination across departments. Her behind-the-scenes leadership has been instrumental in the successful planning and execution of the Green Law Africa Initiative Moot Court Competitions, which have grown into a flagship continental platform for climate justice advocacy.
Beyond her administrative prowess, Edith is deeply passionate about girl-child empowerment. She spearheads programs that include mentorship, outreach to schools, and donation of sanitary towels to girls in underserved communities, bridging law, dignity, and development.
Her calm resolve, ethical integrity, and people-centered leadership make her a cornerstone of the BBA Advocates team.
